  Absolute joke of an organization. Does not deserve any state or federal funding. I filed a couple disabled abuse complaints with them: 1. I complained about myself where I felt my parents were misusing my special needs trust. We were not getting along and did not consent anymore to having the trust. The agency provided a referral and didn't provide any additional help. No consultation with my parents, not provided me an attorney, anything. 2. I complained about a mental hospital in Norristown PA called MCES. The amount of civil rights abuses I saw while there was disgusting. They hospitalized an African American man who was kidnapped by the Pottstown police and deliberately hiding them from his family. They blocked his mother's phone number. Another white autistic woman I witnessed get sexually harassed by staff, super tight restraint, etc. Someone with diabetes went into shock because she wasn't cared for. There was more along this line. This agency did basically nothing to address any of this. The hospital is still open as of today. I, as an autistic person, do not feel protected by this organization. If someone like Donald Trump were to slash funding from P&A, I would praise him on. I would rather have people concerned the disabled aren't being protected from a funding slash than be deceived by this joke that the disabled are being protected.
