  What, are they reviewing themselves? There was no parking, which the security guard directing traffic refused to believe when he demanded we all drive through the full parking lot over and over. I had to guess which section I was meant to wait at, since there are no receptionists in the lobby. I made the lucky guess, so my two hour wait landed me in the correct room. However, I got to the window only to find out that I was missing a piece of documentation. Ironically, I had actually checked with one of the workers at the beginning of my wait, who did not say I needed this piece of documentation. If there had been a well-informed receptionist somewhere, I could have just turned back as soon as I got there. Like many DMV's, the workers also need an attitude check. They assumed I was an idiot for not having read their minds about this piece of documentation. Unfortunately, I will be returning since there is no where else to go. I just figured they needed a review on here that they deserved.

  I like when I have to go to the DMV now. It had been years since I had to stop by this DMV specifically, but after moving closer to Harrisburg, this was my nearest office. I was impressed. Impressed by a government office! Anytime I've visited, the people are courteous and straight-forward. I'm directed exactly where I need to go. There are swarms of people and so many different desks, but I've never waited longer than a few minutes. It's really a terrific model of efficiency and kinda fun to observe in action. Okay, sure it's an older building with no frills, but that's fine. And they still have the old coffee machine I remember from my childhood. The coffee isn't bad either, but I couldn't really describe it because I'm too busy in nostalgia mode, looking at the hidden poker hand on the bottom.

  It's pretty good for a DMV. It could use more parking I have seen people parking up along the bushes when it is busy, though it seems to be okay there. You should have not problem on a regular day though. Make sure you aren't going on a any holiday since it will most likely be closed. Try using the DMV website before going as well so you are informed and what you may need to bring.
